This woman is my passion, and the reason I am a happy man. Her name is Jann. We met ages ago. At the time we decided to link our lives together, we knew almost nothing. Today, well… it is much the same, however, we have discovered that we are polar opposites and yet we can still have a boatload of fun.
This is what I can be found doing every fall in the stunning wine country of Sonoma County California, just north of San Francisco. I love doing this too. If anyone were to ask me which is my favorite activity: writing or making wine, I would not be able to choose. There is a time for every activity under the sun.
I write a simple little blog from our getaway in France. We live part of the year in Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the coast between Nice and Monaco. We can walk most places, so we do. It provides me with a wealth of observations about French life and how a foreigner (me) might interpret the people, places, and customs. I try to keep it light and humorous, but if you sense that I am missing the mark on either of these goals, please write me with suggestions.
